The Youth Action Forum for Networking (YAFNet) is a membership-driven organization pooling expertise and commitment. It is a platform that brings together a diversity of youth organizations united to carry out a common mission:
YAFNet aims to empower young people ages of 15-35. The age bracket is relatively mild, and not meant to exclude anyone who might just fall out of it to actively participate in the shaping of Kenya and the society in which they live. Through our Member Organizations (MO) and our representative role, we want to improve the living condition of young people as Kenyan citizens in today’s world.
YAFNet works for the interests of all young people in Kenya. When youth are encourages to work together in constructive groups they have the ability to positively influence each other and the community around them.
YAFNET MISSION
YAFNet exists to create and sustain a systems approach to providing youth with accessible and available opportunities which improve their quality of life, increase their chances for achievement, promote their development into responsible citizens and prevent or reduce youth problems.
OUR VISION
YAFNet visualizes a society where youths have an equal opportunity as other citizens to realize their fullest potential, productively participating in economic, social, political, cultural and religious life.
GUIDING PRINCIPLE:
YAFNet is guided by principles that are the values and beliefs, voiced by the community. They serve as a filter for decision making in planning and creating opportunities for youth.

 Support member organizations in various areas like planning, fund raising, staff
Capacity building, create linkages
 Coordinate research and other activities that underpin policy development
 Share experiences between member organization
 Transfer of appropriate technologies to the needy
